How it works

Window › Extensions › AeCut. Your composition appears as a timeline.

It is still your comp
Nothing is wrapped or precomposed behind your back. Close AeCut and the cut is there.

No. It is a panel that edits your composition. Everything it does is an ordinary After Effects edit.
